EXACT FIT AND WORKS LIKE A CHAMP now to have the OEM rebuilt and have it as a spare

+1 for Denso. Friend of mine got a used Mitsubishi alternator for his Murano with slightly higher Amp rating (doesn't matter, just means it will handle load better).

I Had a 200k mile 2011 Soul and didn't have any major issues. 3k mile oil change, 3-5 yr battery change, some tire change, alternator replaced at 190k.

I bought my alternator from RockAuto and the Mitsubishi one **IS** the OEM part

Mitsubishi made a heap of OEM parts for other brands. Including alternators for Mazda lol. Also various electronic modules too.

I have a 2013 Soul !. Got it about 2 years ago. Very reliable, only had one issue and that was the alternator going out on me a few weeks ago. 182k miles on it. It doesn\u2019t consume oil at the same pace others mention. It does currently idle a little rough, but Not terribly.

I would suggest the genuine Kia one, or a professional grade like NAPA's top line or an AC-Delco. I would avoid anything that says "USA Industries" or "Duralast" on it, based on personal experience. In our shop we have had nearly 100% failure rates with those brands.
