What sort of alternator are you installing, because I've had two Chinese alternators fail but a genuine denso from pull a part has survived a good thrashing
On my 2010 Corolla I replaced it with a Duralast one and it lasted a couple months, then I replaced it with a Denso one and haven't thought about it since. Cars got almost 250k miles on it.
I supply Denso alternators for d3,4 Rrs
Denso is the OEM. I chose to rebuild mine with new bearings and brushes from Honda. The rectifier was the actual bad part, though. I put an aftermarket rectifier in for $30.
I got denso on my car and it's perfectly fine
Denso by a very wide margin. The rest are not even close in quality.
Buy Denso remanufactured alternators only. Many many people have reported problems on Odys and Pilots with other brand alternators. Remanufactured and in a Denso box is what you want.
Try a Denso alternator. Somtimes those cheap ones at the auto stores just dont last.
Purchase a new or remanufactured Denso or TYC alternator. Most others are a roll of the dice in terms of lasting longer than 12months.
Go with a new OEM. I had a Ford E250 I put a remanufactured one in and it lasted like 2000 miles and gave out.
