2016 ST1, 205k miles, green filter and hood struts. That’s it. Keep your oil changed, and there’s nothing wrong with a little “spirited” driving here and there, that’s what the car was built to do. They handle soo nice.
The only mods I ever did was a green air filter, symposer delete, and put in yellow led fog lights. It has only needed a few small things fixed, other than normal maintained stuff like fluid changes, brakes, tires, whatever.
Delete the sound symposer and get an aftermarket air filter. I’m partial to the Green filter. Have had it for 100k and clean it every third oil change.
Best accessory for my Ignis was K&N Air Filter, it really changed the sound of engine which I really liked. Maybe it was Placebo affect but I felt the change in character of the car.
Put a K&N cleanable air filter in long ago I’m now at around 80k mileage and most likely going to sell my 2016 wrx before 100k.
I don’t recommend reusable performance filters since they can alter air flow enough that you end up running a little lean with a turbo charged engine. This is why a lot of turbo charged engines can’t just have a cold air intake slapped on without a tune. This actually occurred with my 08’ Subaru Legacy GT. Stick to a quality standard filter that offers optimal air flow and filtering capability.
I put one on my 08 , it's good but it throws check engine lights on me.
First step, if it still has the k&n air filter in it, throw that piece of shit away amd get a decent paper filter.
No it’s not worth it.
K&N is awful at filtration just like up the testing. Get the AEM dry flow
