The blades at the dealer are the same price as the bosch (about $18 each) and actually fit, I think they are a great blade current set has been on the car for more than a year and still wipes like new.

Pros: wipes like new
Vehicle: Volkswagen Beetle

The Rain-X ones are better, I've used both. Supposedly the PIAA Super Silicone are the bees knees, but I hate framed designs. They recently started making frameless ones so one day I'll try those. Currently I'm on Trico Force blades and they have been the best I've had so far. I have only had them about 2 months now though so that could change.

Pros: Trico Force have been best
Cons: hate framed designs

I have had both, I think the Rain-X are a bit better, though the Bosch aren't bad. the Bosch seemed to have a bit too much stiffness, didn't clear the center of the path as well.

Pros: Rain-X are a bit better
Cons: Bosch too much stiffness

I like my Valeo Gen2 wipers. They're about $20 a pair, and they've lasted over a year with no streaking at all, and they're super quiet.

Pros: no streaking, super quiet
Vehicle: Ford Focus

I buy the Duralast version of these wipers at Autozone for about $10 less a set than Bosch Icon or similar. They work just as good and last me about 1 year, if you live somewhere with less intense Sunlight you'll get more life out them.

Pros: good performance, good value, last 1 year

ANCO Wiper blades

Heck I buy the Cheap $4-5 walmart Anco wipers. I Washington you'll burn through a pair of wipers in less than 3-4 months. I forked over $30+ for a set of those bosch Icons, took them back the same day. They only would wipe the first inch of the wiper ends. My Corrado windshield and crappy wiper arm design just make pay $$$ for wipers a stupid investment when the $4-5 ones do better than spendier options.

Pros: cheap, good performance
Cons: short lifespan
Vehicle: Volkswagen Corrado

rainx Wiper blades

rain-x blades. cheap and very reliable, once they lose a little bit of that 'rain-x' effect, just damp a rag with rain-x and rub the wiper blade.

Pros: cheap and very reliable
Cons: lose rain-x effect
Vehicle: Acura RSX

mine does it too, and ICONs are NOT crap, they are very good (usually) I think the new ones are crap, however. my dad has an 06 VE Jetta with original wipers and they work better than my new ones.

Pros: usually very good
Cons: new ones are crap, smearing
