I get rain-x wipers, but always replace them in may/june before the monsoons. Only go through one set a year though.

Pros: last one year, good durability

I put on Bosch Icons at the start of the winter and they've held up decently well. Not spectacular when there's ice build up on the windshield but otherwise good

Pros: held up decently well, good performance
Cons: not good with ice build-up

FWIW, I found the stock wipers I had pulled off the car before really using them to go with the PIAAs. Not sure why, but the stock work so much better than the PIAAs, which were really starting to pi%s me off. Anyway, thanks to the contributors to this thread...it didn't even dawn on me to put the OEMs back on...though it was a design flaw with the wiper arm not having enough tension on it or something.

Pros: stock wipers work better
Cons: PIAAs were disappointing

I recently replaced mine with Rain X wipers and I'm in love with them. It's been raining a lot here in California, but I can see perfectly!

Pros: perfect visibility, love them

Bosch Wiper blades

Right on the package, in a star burst on mine. Unmissable. If you can't see it, it's not ClearMax, just regular, and those Icons definitely will not fit Mk 7 R.

Pros: clearly marked on package
Cons: regular icons will not fit
