OEM Nissan Tires

I found out that my Titan with some weight in the bed (sand bags, since I can also use the sand to get traction) and in 4-Hi with decent All-seasons helped me survive taking my wife to work daily in 2021 while the south was frozen over for a week while I saw plenty of stuck and wrecked vehicles everywhere.

Pros: helped me survive
Vehicle: Nissan

OEM Subaru Tires

I have a 25 yo Subaru Impreza RS that is completely unaffected by snow. That is as long as I put proper snow tires on in the winter, I forgot to switch one winter before a storm and my summer tires were pointless to say the least.

Pros: unaffected by snow
Cons: summer tires pointless

MICHELIN Tires

Depends on the All Seasons IMO. Michelin Pilot AS have been pretty good. Cross Climates are better. But yes, nothing will beat snow tires.

Pros: pretty good

NANKANG Tires

I don’t drive my Mini much, sub 100 miles a year. I had Nankangs but they started to split after 18 months. Not sure if lack of movement didn’t help but it was annoying.

Cons: started to split
Vehicle: MINI

I needed new tires *ridiculously* fast, as the OEM set's treads wore out at an absurd rate. I honestly think I had a bad set, because even the tire guys who replaced them were shocked at how bad, and *inconsistent*, the wear was on 1-year-old tires. I got a 40% discount on them due to the warranty, but they were still $700.

Pros: warranty discount
Cons: tires wore out fast, inconsistent wear
