I have been running Duratracs for quite a while, work very well in winter.
Owner reviews for tires
I’ve had absolutely zero issues running Toyo ATIIs year round and I know plenty of people who haven’t had issues with Duratracs or KO3s either.
I run KO2s on my truck year round. I’ve never had dedicated winter tires for my truck so I can’t compare to that, but the all terrains are noticeably better on snow and ice than the all seasons that came with it. You still need to use common sense with driving to the conditions but the tires do help
Falken Wildpeaks. 20k miles so far. 3/32" wear. Quieter than factory Pirelllis.
Bolts tend to eat through tires faster than my other cars, but that may be because it's fun to drive, so I accelerate and corner a little faster than I do in other cars. But this is a complaint that I hear from a lot of other EV drivers too.
Western Canadian skier here. I run Studded Toyos on my outback every winter, it’s amazing!
I have been exclusively buying Yokohama Avid Ascend GTs for every car in the last couple of years. I've had no problems and they treat me well
I had Supercats for a while and they were meh at best but did the job.
Avoid the nittos. They just aren't a good value and the company is behind the curve on tire compounds. Bought a wheel and tire pack for tracking thinking the discount was good with tires, wish I just bought the wheels alone in retrospect.
First set dry rot within 2yr and the other had irreparable sidewall chunk damage within 5k miles. Terrible quality on that model.
