BRIDGESTONE Tires

I had bridgestone s-03 last season. They were amazing, but don't last too long, which is why I might purchase these pirellis.

Pros: amazing performance
Cons: don't last too long

I am running 36 up front and 38 in the rear on my new 205/45-16 Bridgestone 750s. And I took it through the twisties pretty hard on saturday and it worked awesome even on the stock suspension! Good balance...not too much understeer.

Pros: Good balance, awesome performance
Cons: stock suspension

FULDA Tires

Fulda´s are the best tires you can get here for ultra low cost , but most vW people in Germany dislike Fulda´s .... they prefer spending 100´s of euros for Dunlop´s which i don´t like. I always buy Fulda´s or Continental´s...

Pros: ultra low cost
Cons: most dislike

Pirelli Tires

I'll admit that the conjecture about the P Zero Neros had me a little bit worried, too. The only thing different is that I also had mine siped by the installer. We had our first real snow last week (4-6" of heavy, slushy stuff) and the Pirelli's were great! Lots of traction. Very controllable. I'm sure that dedicated snow tires would be better, but I'm very pleased so far.

Pros: lots of traction, very controllable

Glad to hear it!!!! My wife forced me to stop being cheap. She insisted that I get the set of P Zero Nero M+S early last month as a precaution since the F1s are supposed to turn to stone in cold temperatures. I'm glad I listed to her. We recently had a bit of a cold snap that would have taxed the F1s. Now that I know you've had good performance in the snow, I'm even happier and I know now that I should be good for the winter (Maryland - Mid-Atlantic Winter that is).

Pros: good performance in snow

Pirelli Tires

I too was pleasantly surprised with their performance. We've received 3"-4" in the last couple day here in Utah, and I've gone out searching for bad roads and have no problems at all with anything that I've come up against. Whether the ESP is on or off you just point it and go. I find them completely acceptable for an all-season tire, and will gladly buy them again when I need new tires.

Pros: completely acceptable, no problems
Mileage: 5000 km

Pirelli Tires

They're similar to the Pilot Sport Cups in terms of wear but I've been told that their grip levels are a bit below that of the PSCs.

Pros: similar wear to PSCs
Cons: grip levels a bit below

I can speak to the Toyo's from experience. I had them on my RSX-S, 225-45-17. I can only rate them as moderate. Grip is good, but not great. Certainly no better than F1's. Sidewall stiffness also is good, but not great. Press on the sidewall of an un-inflated T1-S, and you'll see. They are not terribly stiff. One thing I would give them an "F" on is noise. They were noticeably louder than the stock Michelines I had when new. And by 20k miles, they absolutely howled. I personally won't buy them again.

Pros: Grip is good
Cons: noise, not terribly stiff
Vehicle: Acura RSX
Mileage: 32187 km
