If its the tires its time to invest in some Continental DWS

I run Falken 512 in 205/45/16 on 16x7 wheels. I wouldn't run 40 sidewall, particularly if stretched onto an 8.

Never had any issues with neogen, had them on quite a few sets of wheels.

The Kumho Sense tires look like a good option for you, but they are $208 a set +shipping and installation.

I would recommend Michelin and BFGoodrich. I've had good experiences at Americas Tire Co, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I have 17x8 RPF1's with 245/40 R17 Hankook V12's and I have no problems with rubbing. Final et is 35 in the front and 30 in the rear on my car. I'm also lowered on ST Coils to about a 2 finger gap all around.

I had 512s on my cabriolet, and they were decent.

Falken ZIEX 912 is the most over hyped tire I've ever had the misfortune of having mounted to my vehicle. Useless in the rain, greasy in the cold and noisy as hell as they begin to wear.
