I had the FSD/Eibach setup on my MK5 and loved it. The FSD is a great option for those who dont want to be jolted around constantly but a super stiff suspension but still want it stiff in the corners.on highway and around town it was similar to stock but once I took a good corner it stuck it real well.

Pros: stiff in the corners
Cons: not super stiff suspension

Santa brought me a pair of Koni yellow adjustable shocks. I already have VWR springs and a 24mm RSB. My goal with the shocks was to help the transient response at the rear of the car. This past weekend, I was able to find the time to put them on the car. I can definitely feel the difference.

Pros: feel the difference

Bilstein Shock absorbers

Sounds like you would be most happy with Bilstein Comfort/Touring shocks (B4). The Bilstein Sport and HD shocks will provide a much stiffer ride. Having tried the Bilstein HDs, I really didn't care for them at all on my W126. The Bilstein Comfort shocks still improved the handling immensely over the original circa 1987 front shocks on my 560SEL.

Pros: improved handling
Cons: stiffer ride

Bilstein Shock absorbers

Since the original Sachs were not available where I live, I went ahead with Bilstein stock replacements. One problem that i am facing is that no matter what I do, I am not able to get the front camber to factory spec.

Cons: camber not to factory spec

Running Koni FSD shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit, the Car is mostly used as a family car and wife, but wanted to stiffen things up a bit and close the gap in the wheel well area. Been running these for about 10 months and I LOVE the look, but the ride SUCKS!!! Its just way too bouncy for me and The amount of travel before the shock bottoms out seems like it is about 1\" (although I know it is more) and then you feel all that force through your body. It also seems very \"bouncy\", the ride in the passenger seats is even worse.

Pros: love the look
Cons: ride SUCKS, too bouncy
