replaced the factory d/s mirror with one from euroland that doesnt have the dimming blown out. extra bonus of adding the blind spot bit on the end.
I've done the following and confirmed that they seem to be working: Windows up/down with remote. Mirror dips in reverse and returns; returns a little high but that seems to be a known issue without the folding mirrors w/memory.
My CC already had the HomeLink visor but my Eos did not. For it, I went with a Gentex mirror. The Gentex was considerably cheaper than a VW HomeLink visor plus it had the auto dimming feature. I love it.
