My 03 forester was burning a quart every 1,000 miles when I got it. Switched to restore and protect and it just stopped burning oil. Not even a gradual decrease in the amount it was burning, just completely stopped burning oil all together.

Once my wife's Subaru is out of warranty we will switch it to R&P. I have my Fusion Hybrid running it now. Can't say if I notice a difference cause I replaced spark plugs same time so I'd course it's smoother starting/stopping.
I just switched the my oil to Valvoline Restore and Protect. It reduces the burning tremendously to normal burn rate after 1000 miles monitored. Good stuff.
i used shell long ride. Mas smooth at na lessen yung engine vibration based on my observation.
I’ve used Honda oil in the past, but I have gravitated to Mobil 1.
I've been using Pennzoil Platinum in my 2010 for a few years. I saw how it was the best oil tested on Project Farm on YouTube. I get it for $27 for a 5-quart jug at Walmart.
Mazda says every 7500 miles for normal duty OCI, and I’ve done every 7500 miles since brand new on my 2014 3z.
It’s now at 187k flawless miles, consumes no oil *at all* (I’ve literally never had to add oil beaten changes, ever, what goes in comes out every time), runs like new, seems easily headed to 250k.
Lorry uses diesel engine, your car uses diesel engine as long as it is the right viscosity your car will be fine. What matters more is you are using genuine Petronas engine oil and not fake oil.
I just purchased their OE formula @ $8.99 a quart...my 2012 Camry, 2ARFE has 212k miles and started burning oil around 150K. I was using Mobil 1 since I ownWe'll, and I noticed I was topping it off every other week...Now, I'm waiting for the oil and see if this will clean up the oil control rings, ring landings, etc. I'll report back.
I used the Motul 10w50 fully synthetic. After running it for a few months I happened to check oil level and I was shocked to find out that 500ml had disappeared. This never happened on the stock Royal Enfield oil, nor with the Motul 5100, so I was not used to keep checking oil level religiously. But now I do.
Then I checked YouTube reviews to see if others report oil evaporation or burning off. And yes lot of youtubers report it, but still recommended it!
How can you recommend an engine oil that evaporates or burns off, even if it gives slightly better performance? It's ridiculous.
