My 21' had coolant in the cylinders and was burning oil pretty good up until 40k when they replaced the head gaskets....then it still was burning coolant and oil and they replaced the head two weeks later. Mines at 75k now and no further issues(knock on wood)

Pros: no further issues, resolved problems

My 1996 Super Custom has over 400k on the clock, had to do the head last year thanks to worn out injectors and a dead fan clutch.

Cons: worn out injectors, dead fan clutch

as far as i have seen (quite a few but not hundreds) brazil heads are moderately cast with casting defects on the ports and in the valve train oil area german heads look to be cleaner and definately have the date stamps on them

Pros: german heads look cleaner
Cons: casting defects on ports

The 2.8L 24v head has a bare port flow about what a well ported 12v one does. However, at low and moderate lifts, the 24v will kill it, which is what really matters.

Pros: good at low lifts
Cons: bare port flow
