K&N Cabin filter

just went to autozone and forked out for the K&N, and holy shit it was worth it. Like night and day on the airflow. I can actually feel it on my face now, lol.

Pros: night and day airflow, can feel on face
Vehicle: Toyota 4runner

Mann Cabin filter

The Mann Frescious Plus ones are really good. But they are hard to find sometimes. I’ve also done well with the OEM one from VW. I’d avoid the WIX one. The charcoal is not well contained in the filter and it blows through the vents into the cabin and gets all over everything.

Pros: good quality, easy to install
Cons: hard to find, charcoal blows through

OEM Acura Cabin filter

oem premium filter…. 08R79-PS8-100B for many acuras. Can be found $45-50 including free shipping from a dealership on eBay. It’s well made. Fram filters are flimsy in comparison. Not bad given it last 12k miles / 1 year and filters very fine dust, VOCs, odors, viruses.

Pros: well made, filters well
Cons: flimsy
Mileage: 12000 km
Part number: 08R79-PS8-100B

I installed the STP Max Cabin Air Filter which, per AutoZone, was compatible and fit which it did in the end.

K&N Cabin filter

Bosch with charcoal, DO NOT USE KN CABIN FILTERS, you’ll be very unhappy with them. Tried them for 4 years, sure cleaning was easy, but they did not filter any orders, if anything they made them worse. Switched back to Bosch.

Pros: cleaning was easy
Cons: did not filter orders
