GARMIN Brake pads

I guess my two reasons for Premium is the route builder function, and the gear tracking. I've uploaded not only all my bikes, but for most of them, their components and consumables like tires. I like tracking component life. I've found it very useful for choosing the best tires for wear, predicting when I'll need to replace my chain, seeing which components fail prematurely, how long brake pads last, etc.

Pros: tracking component life, useful

EBC Brake pads

I upgraded to ebh yellows from stock, they are affordable, huge braking improvement in pedal feel, if your in a cold climate id avoid ceramics.

Pros: affordable, huge braking improvement
Cons: avoid in cold climate (ceramics)

Bosch Quietcast pads. They have good stopping power, are quiet (so far) and have low dust, so they are great for my daily driver.

Pros: good stopping power, low dust

OEM Subaru Brake pads

I've owned 5 subies including 2 WRX's...I always used OEM pads. They seem to be the best bang for the buck. I've tried spending more a couple times and it just wasn't worth the cost.

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: aftermarket not worth cost
Vehicle: Subaru

HAWK HPS 5.0 on mine currently - no complaints. Keeps the Linear pedal feel (doesnt bite hard in the beginning then dies out if that makes sense) and stops much better than the OEMs. It does dust a bit but nothing crazy.

Pros: linear pedal feel, better stopping
Cons: some brake dust

New EBC/TRW pads, rotors and calipers front and back. New super dot fluid, several ABS bleed procedures, new clutch master and new slave cylinder. I put a new German/OE brake booster hose that attaches to the manifold. The new one tightened the pedal up for sure but it still stops slowly with decent pressure on the pedal

Pros: pedal much stiffer now
Cons: stops slowly
