I went with Dynamic Friction instead after hearing lots of negative feedback, so far very happy 6 mo later. I drive fast and they stop very well. Does produce quite a bit of brake dust though.

Pros: stops very well
Cons: brake dust

Bendix Brake pads

I’ve been using Bendix metal king for my car, it outperforms stock pads from Toyota by a lot. For context, I’m from Sabah; under normal driving conditions and without another driver in front basically keeping their foot on the brake pedal. Our steepest mountainous road is Kimanis, gradients ranging from 10% to 25%; it handled the descend perfectly without fading as compared to stock pads. Traversing to-and-fro Kundasang was also a breeze, brakes would typically fade half-way down the mountain with minor traffic ahead. I’m looking to switch to Bendix Ultimate come time to change my brake pads. Though I have to agree with the brake dust, but if you wash your car once a week then it shouldn’t be that awful.

Pros: outperforms stock, good fade resistance
Cons: excessive brake dust

EBC Brake pads

I think the Fiesta actually has great brakes, even for its size. The only reason I would upgrade is to fight brake fade. That means new pads, fluid, hoses, and potentially a BBK (for heat dissipation ONLY, at the cost of more unsprung mass). The previous owner beat the brakes to an inch of their life so I swapped out new EBC Yellowstuff pads and EBC slotted discs, along with Motul RBF600 brake fluid. Braided hoses are in the garage waiting to go on at the next service. All in all a nicely sorted setup.

Pros: nicely sorted setup
Cons: brake fade

EBC Brake pads

EBC pads/rotors and motul fluid. I've spent entire weekends hooning Tail of the Dragon with this setup... zero complaints/concerns.

Pros: zero complaints, good for track

AP RACING Brake pads

AP Racing 9660 and 9451, with Ferodo DS1.11. They are overkill even for track use as they have way more stopping power than tire grip level. Good thing is you don’t need to worry about overheating the brakes and the pads last pretty long. The front lasts over 15 track days and the rear lasts probably 3 times as long. Fairly easy to change brake pads as well.

Pros: long pad life, strong stopping power
Cons: overkill for street use

WAGNER Brake pads

I used closesale WAGNER OEX906A (Premium) OEX and closesale AUTO EXTRA AX31314. they actually works amazing, especially auto extra with "P" is semi-coated with a little bit more price, I have very good experience with them and actually recommends it if you want to be cheap

Pros: amazing, works well
Vehicle: Toyota
Part number: WAGNER OEX906A, AUTO EXTRA AX31314

POWER STOP Brake pads

For rotors just get fully coated blanks on RockAuto. For pads, I’ve had really good results with the PowerStop Z23 pads. Very affordable, zero brake dust, and they’ll hold up to everything except an actual track day. I’ve also had Redstuff pads on my previous car, and feel like these are equivalent.

Pros: zero brake dust, affordable
Cons: not for track use

DS2500s on my daily. Bit of squeak, but it’s not bad at all. I have EBC yellow on the rear as they don’t make DS2500s for a non PP mk7.5, and they’re garbage.

Cons: squeak

EBC Brake pads

Ditch EBC. Discs are OK. But pads are just pure viral marketing via forums etc. Played havoc with the ABS on my GC8 Subaru when I had them (ABS kicking in actually massively increased stopping distances).

Cons: increased stopping distance
