I use Zimmerman rotors and OEM pads from fcpeuro. I like the bite the oem pads have compared to ceramic. More brake dust yes, but I want a car to stop as fast as possible.

I've run Zimmerman rotors with EBC red stuff ceramic pads. No complaints.

I did Zimmerman/Akebono on my e39 about 3000 mikes ago. My only complaint is the bite. It doesn't have that initial braking force the OEM pads had. It still slows the car down without fail, just a different feel.
