Reviews of OEM Toyota engine oil

Have a 2016 Corolla ZR. Have only done oil changes, bought the car at 49Kms its now 105ks. Only thing ive ever need doing is oil.

Perhaps using a lower weight, full synthetic engine oil would build pressure faster and reduce the noise.

My 2000 Toyota is approaching 300k and runs beautifully. The car before that had 170k before it got totaled.

I check the oil a couple times a month, mostly because it's leaking oil a bit and needs a top-off every thousand miles or so.

I just bought a 2025 Camry in September. I did my first oil change at 1200 miles and my second at 2500 miles. The first time I changed it, I added a magnetic plug. Quite a bit of fine metal was on the plug at the second change. Next change will be at 5000 and every 5000 after that.

yeah they make good stuff. My last one id top up the oil when it got low never did an oil change had it for 5 years went like a boss. But yeah got a newer smaller better toyota.

I'm from a Toyota family. My parents used to buy Toyotas just out of warranty and never did any maintenance on them. When an oil change interval was due my dad checked the oil levels and maybe topped it up a little if necessary - like once a year that is. There was never an engine problem.

If it\u2019s a Toyota it will run just fine even with chewing gum instead of oil, a Subaru will explode one mile past the due service mark.
