As mentioned above you can replace the soft goods in your caliper with a kit. Another option is to buy a rebuilt caliper. They are not very expensive. I bought Raybestos recently. Given the age of your vehicle that's what I would do.
brakes are replaced by Raybestos Police purpose built brakes, and any other part, interior or exterior, is replaced as needed.
Most parts from a reputable rebuilder such as Raybestos will be just fine. I've found aftermarket can be superior in some ways to "OEM" as well, since it's fairly likely that Motorcraft rebuilds those calipers, too.
On my truck I got a screaming deal on some Brembo pads, and Raybestos rotors. Put them on today and I swear the truck stops better than my Impreza ever did with the Advance Autoparts Wearever Gold that were on it.
For $8 less they have the Raybestos #MC390406 "professional grade" on closeout with only 30 day warranty. I bought a similar Raybestos for my Toyota, and it's worked fine. "Professional grade" apparently means no instructions or bleeder houses are included.
If you're at all mechanically inclined, or have a friend who is, you can get Raybestos premium calipers (both left and right), front pads (left and right) from Rockauto.com for ~$275 shipped, and you'll get ~$50 back after returning the cores.
replaced mine with the raybestos professional series one from rock auto couldn't complain, better quality than the ones bought from autozone/oem.
I replaced mine at 60K, just a few months ago. I used Raybestos rotors and pads. So far, so good
