Surprisingly, R1 Concepts Track Pads. They have been really great on the track (3800lb/310hp? car).

I left them on my daily since I am too lazy to change out the pads and they have been on for about 6 months and a few track days. They are great for the street and track but dusty as hell. They only make noise when it’s cold outside other wise they are fine.

Pros: great for street and track
Cons: dusty as hell, noise when cold

R1 Concepts Brake discs

Ive got r1s on 3 of my cars and love them. Put out a decent amount of brake dust so either learn to live with it or youll be finger banging your wheels to keep them clean. Working on set #2 on my camry, lasted about 40k miles but i drive hard. Handled well thru the mountains

Pros: loved them, handled well
Cons: decent brake dust
Mileage: 64374 km

I was more than happy with my R1 Rotors at Sonoma 2 weeks ago. I felt a bit of pulsing when I got the brakes especially hot, but I never had any real fading.

Pros: happy with R1 Rotors
Cons: bit of pulsing
Vehicle: Ford Focus

R1 Concepts Brake pads

I ran R1 concepts for my tc2 for over four years. An improvement over stock’s brake fading prone design. Not badly priced too

Pros: improvement over stock
Cons: brake fading prone

Installed new r1 concepts drilled and slotted rotors. After break-in, I noticed a clicking sound from both front rotors, resembling a wheel of fortune. The sound happens when a pad is in. The r1 concepts rotors are dimple instead of drilled all the way through, unlike my previous Power Stop rotors. Brakes feel great otherwise, but this pesky clicking noise when I have windows down will drive me nuts. I may go back to Power Stop.

Pros: good braking feel
Cons: clicking noise from rotors

I originally had r1 concepts rotors and pads but the pads started to squeak like crazy at slow speeds. Rotors were still good so I put on akebono pads and they are perfect.

Pros: they are perfect
Cons: pads started to squeak
