I recommend Power Stop ceramic pads and solid rotors. The 6 is an economy car by design. So, there are no practical or worthy trade offs to other types of rotors/material besides aesthetics.Since it's a 16', I highly recommend doing a full brake job even if your mileage is low. If I am correct, the 2016 model has an electronic brake that requires a service mode to be able to do the job(refer to manual since I can't help you on that).

I installed the power stop ck8067 and I’m happy with them. I went with the geomet coating to help with corrosion around the bolts and wheel hub; the coating gets worn off behind the pads instantly. Only time will tell how much it helps though.
I love my power stop brakes. Got a whole kit on rock auto with pads as well as drilled/slotted rotors. Been running it for over 2 years with no complaints at all, they’ve been fantastic brakes
I run power stops on my big turbo daily. Haven't had any issues or noises from them and they work/look great. Been running them for almost 3 years now
I used the Power Stop Z36 kit. It has drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. It was about $425 for all 4 shipped directly to my house last year. So far they seem great.
Went with power stop rotors and pads. Serious upgrade over stock. Very happy.
I got the powerstop set for the front. Heavy duty drilled/slotted rotors, nice pads and new calipers for 200 bucks.
On a brake related note...anyone know if Power Stop rotors & pads are good quality? Looking to upgrade my stock units and these are pretty affordable on Amazon.
I too have used powerstops with more than satisfactory results. Shorter stopping distances with less brake dust.
I've used powerstops and bosch on my xc60. Braking performance felt slightly improved from the OEM for both. The powerstops (Z23 model) are also significantly less dusty, while the bosch pads produced about the same amount of dust as the OEM.
