Mahle is the way. Allegedly the OEM maker and after using them for a year they look and feel exactly the same.

MAHLE was the last thermostat put in her… no issues happened since then to this day, continues to runs fine, no fluctuations in gauge, or overheating. The dealership even started to have that issue with other customers until we switch to Mahle, solve all thermostat issues.

I went with mahle from fcp, job is easy the only thing I can bitch about is the metal plate covering it

I have a newish expansion tank and cap from Mahle. I think my cap is from the premium line but the inside colouring underneath the cap is already washed off and the plastic feel and finish of the expansion tank seems a bit lacking. However I have completed 10k in it now and no problems whatsoever.

and don't use store bought oil filters unless they sell Mahle or Mann.
