Just finished swapping the alternator to a Lucas LRA02000 everything seems to be working fine now! Throttle response is working again.

I use a lucas every oil change with Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic. Would recommend it. 2014 3.0L Q7
My Toyota suddenly had the check engine light (money light) come on. It was the dreaded P0240 error code, indicative of a bad catalytic converter. I added a bottle of Lucas additive to a full tank and the light went out.
Put a bottle in my 5.3 yesterday and the slight misfire went away. Done that for a few years now
My Miata has almost 300k on the original head gasket I started using the far right a few times ago and I don’t leak a lick of oil
I use it in my Cadillac. It’s got the 3.6 vvt with the 3 timing chains. The motors like to rattle on startup even when there’s nothing wrong with the motor. No correlation codes no misfires. When I add this it quiets down considerably.
I’m not going to argue with anyone about what it does but I’ve used Lucas for a long long time I have a 93 Chevy truck with 400k miles that I have never taken care of correctly I have run it out of oil overheated it overloaded it and abused and mistreated the engine in that truck and its still able to do any thing I need it to.
Almost every vehicle I've put Lucas oil additives (stabilizer mostly) into smoke for a little bit... then it goes away.
So I drained the gearbox while I was there and refilled with 1/4 Lucas oil, the rest 80/90
I used to work on a lot of JCB's with Perkins engines and Lucas starters. I. Hate. Them. That's kind of how they act when they take a shit. They end up taking a huge amount of current to get them started.
