The oil, no, K&N filters I've been using for almost a decade. Doesn't seem to have any issues. And I like the 1 inch nut on it.

I got the K&N Engineering Fuel Filter for mine, and I've been happy with it.

I 3d printed and designed a cold air intake adapter that works like the Neuspeed intake. I put a big ol’ K&N filter on it and made the car much better on levels of acceleration and throttle response.

I tried out K&N last time and they’ve been the best ones I’ve found so far. I’m almost a year in on them with no chattering or streaking.

A fix is buying the k&n cleanable filter. It’s less restrictive but filters good enough.

I removed the air filter (standard, paper one) and found it clean. I replaced it with a K&N anyway.

I have the K&N one. There wasn't much noticeable difference for mine, although mines a Non-S. It did save me more money long term as I only have to clean it and prime it vs replace it.

I use Rotella T6 5w40 with K&N HP oil filter on my 03 DE daily/drift car.

Bosch with charcoal, DO NOT USE KN CABIN FILTERS, you’ll be very unhappy with them. Tried them for 4 years, sure cleaning was easy, but they did not filter any orders, if anything they made them worse. Switched back to Bosch.

I am not a fan of K&N filters because they have to be cleaned and supposed to be air dried because blow drying can tear the media. I'll be damned if I'm going to notice my air filter is dirty and have to set aside a few hours of my day for it to dry in the sun before I can oil it and drive again, I rather just buy a $10 filter and be done.

Not to mention if you apply too much oil it can get into the MAF sensor and from what I've seen they also have less surface area than a paper filter, albeit they probably don't need the extra surface area, but it does mean they can clog faster.
