I have pollen allergies, so a good HEPA cabin air filter is a must. Cheap HEPA air filters restrict the airflow too much or don't work at all. I have been happy with Bosch.
I got a Bosch air filter for the cabin just 2 weeks ago from Amazon. It works well. Installation was like 30 seconds.
OEM engine and Bosch HEPA for cabin as this will be transporting my kids around and only the best for them.
There's no point in getting an aftermarket engine filter, just get OEM and don't worry about it any further. In all likelihood, Wix or Purolator make okay substitutes, but they're no better and not really cheaper. K&N is going to do a bad job of actual filtration and just get oil up in places you don't want it; they're garbage so at the very least don't get one of those. Stick with OEM.
The "best" cabin filter depends on whether you want any specific features like carbon granules or HEPA filtration. I do want HEPA filtration, so I use the Bosch 6092C cabin filter, but it does have the downside of reducing airflow somewhat (and of course you'll probably need to change it more often.
Replaced cabin air filter with high efficiency particulate-air (HEPA), Bosch 6037C. (The Bosch and Amazon websites only say it fits the 2020 model year, but it was fine.)
This is my Cabin air filter after 14k miles and 1.3 years. (Supposed to change at 12k miles according to BOSH, so I'm not TOO far past the schedule, but you can see that it is working at filtering stuff out of the air and a change is needed...) I'm using the upgraded Bosch Automotive 6078 HEPA Cabin Air Filter for $11 from Amazon because I have seasonal allergies and want the extra HEPA filtering, an OEM filter may not pick up as much stuff / may last longer?
Bought a Bosch cabin air filter for $13.39 and a Ecogard engine air filter for $13.52 from Amazon. Installed both today in less than 5 minutes. Super easy just check a YouTube video.
I would not use the Bosch one again. 1) It has a chemical smell out of the box that needs time to dissipate 2) it restricts airflow... that's how it's a HEPA filter 3) Bosch isn't kidding about its replacement interval, when it gets plugged up (and it's fast) you get no airflow.
