I lost <10% mpg on my 2009 HiHy when I went to the CC2. I figure 2-3mpg less isn’t that terrible if you drill down on the math and the added safety and in my case improved stance/looks is worth the small cost difference.
Toyota Highlander parts reviews
I have put 50k+ miles on my 09 Highlander Hybrid in the last 2 years. It charges to 76% and provides 27-30mpg depending on conditions. I love it.
I had a 2008 Highlander hybrid that I sold to a coworker. The battery is still strong but the fan that cools the batteries gave out. He had that fixed and it is still running fine today.
Yeah I got some all season coopers for my Highlander and they have been great.
I found aftermarket Denso brand to be quite good. Been on my 07 highlander for years.
Installed on my 2015 Toyota Highlander 6 months ago... 5 stars so far, ride so very smooth and super quiet with better gas mileage
I have Federal Himalaya Inverno K1 on my Highlander and they are boss. Never gotten stuck. Never had traction issues and I can go 120 in a blizzard
We have these on our highlander, they are louder than the defenders we had…. But by no means are they loud.
I mistakenly put 0w20 in ~1000 miles ago, and though my engine hasn't fallen out while I driving I've seen ~5-10% loss in mpgs and it's a little louder than it was with 0w16.
Yes it's overkill if you don't need it. Standard batteries are perfectly fine for 99% of use cases
