Excellent traction! His are E rated because he does tow so it rides pretty stiff. He said a lower rated tire would probably be more compliant. He said they're the best tires he ever had.

Pros: Excellent traction
Cons: rides pretty stiff

I have the ridge grapplers on my stock 4Runner. What little off-roading I’ve done has been good. Not so great on wet pavement. They are quiet while still looking super aggressive.

Pros: good off-roading, quiet
Cons: not great wet

I put new KO2s on my ‘15 4Runner in Kansas in 2017. Moved to VA, then last year hauled a fully loaded 6x12 5000 miles up to Alaska via Texas. Drove on them all last winter and all this summer. Still plenty of tread life and no issues yet pushing 70,000 miles later after driving in just about every condition imaginable.

Pros: plenty of tread life, no issues
Mileage: 112654 km

I have them on my 01 4Runner in a 265/75r16 and love them. They wander a little on the highway but not horribly. I’ve only had them in rocks, loose soft dirt, and shallow mud but they impressed the hell out of me the first time I took it out after install.

Pros: impressed in rocks, dirt, mud
Cons: wander a little

I love the Hankook Dyanpro AT-M's on my 4Runner, they might be what you're looking for but there are several good options out there. They've been on my truck for 12,000 miles and as of last week they all had 7/32" tread left so they should last a while. Noise levels and wet/snow traction is very good as well.

Pros: very good wet/snow traction
Mileage: 12000 km

I've currently got Cooper Discoverer AT's and at 50% tread they're horrible. I wouldn't say they're dangerous but they're definitely not the best tires I've driven on.

Cons: horrible
