Best Oil filter for Honda Civic

Had an 05 Civic and put 100k miles on it. Used full synthetic + Fram filters every 10k miles. Opened the engine for a timing belt and it was squeaky clean, not even varnished.

I also recently saw one YT channel test Fram and it did really well. It was somewhat restrictive, but it held a lot of dust and did a good job at filtering.

i use oem filters for my 2004 SiR, they’re pretty much the same price as any other good filters on the market

8th and 9th gen Si. I use a KN oil filter. Never had any issues, both cars fully built.

I haven't changed the oil yet on my Civic but I will use a K&N filter when I do. First off it has a K&N intake and I like to use similar/same brands, and also K&N filters come with a nut welded to them which makes them way easier to loosen, no fucking around with a filter wrench needed.

OEM filter every time. 9th gen. Why cheap out?I’m already saving 50 bucks changing the oil myself might as well invest it back in the car.

I only use the OEM filters. They do the job perfectly, I have no reason to try my luck with a different one.

8th gen Si sedan. Honda filter only! They cost about the same as whatever shit filter you're going to buy at autozone anyway.

Mobil 1 extended performance 0W-20 engine oil with Mobil 1 m110a filter. You can go to Walmart and read what fits on your model year civic. The oil you should be sticking to is any synthetic and appropriate filter and change every 5k miles.

Changed oil at 7556 miles with Amsoil Signature Series 0w20 and an Amsoil filter. I've noticed over time that the oil in the Honda has darkened faster.

I used 4 or 5 for the first few changes on my honda Civic SI with a turbo, and half caused oil lights and pressure spikes or drops... switched to MOBILE1 or K&N and no problems.
