OEM Chevrolet Valve cover gasket
RedCivicOnBumper
  • Smell:
  • Visible leaks:
Rating 3.0

But seriously either a coolant or oil leak onto the exhaust. Valve cover gasket can leak oil and the coolant outlet from the engine is right there and breaks all the time on those things.

Cons: coolant outlet breaks
Vehicle: Chevrolet Cruze

AC DELCO Spark plug

The new plug is AC Delco 41-156. Cannot tell any difference in my Gen 2 after replacing plugs. It ran fine before and did afterwards as well.

Pros: ran fine before and after
Cons: no noticeable difference
Part number: 41-156

Fram Oil filter

No, that's not normal or good.Fram is junk - my mechanic told me a good oil filter would never collapse like that. When it does, it constricts the oil and it's not filtering properly. Go with an OEM filter, or go with Mann.I do oil changes every 15k (as per manufacturer) and I used a Fram once, and it looked like that. Since then, only used Mann or OEM and they look the same when I pulled it out after 15k.Do not cheap out on oil filters.

Pros: OEM filters are good
Cons: Fram filter is junk
Vehicle: Chevrolet Cruze
Mileage: 15000 km

AC DELCO Oil filter

Yup, they’re trash. I had the same thing happen to me in my Cruze when I used a fram oil filter. I have been using ACDelco oil filters for the last few changes with no issues.
