I get mine from TireRack.com - the Valeo Ultimate Beams are almost identicle to the OEM wipers and work great
Then, I'd recommend swapping your blades over to these from Valeo: Pay no attention to the Amazon listing for size/compatibility - VM387 is specifically for Golf MK7 models. I went through multiple types and brands of wiper blades years ago trying to solve chattering/skipping issues and these have proven to be the best quality, smoothest, and longest lasting by far.
I've been buying Valeo blades from rockauto for awhile...they seem to last
As for the wipers, i got Valeo from RockAuto for all 3 and they work great a year later still.
Your new car should absolutely come with OEM wiper blades that allow you to replace the rubber part.
You get the little blade rubber inserts for way dirt cheap, I think it's like 7 or 8 bucks per blade, maybe less depending on the size. It can be a little fiddly to get em in some times, but I think the actual wipers are pretty good quality, so it's worth it to me to keep the oem blades, and get the replacement rubber.
Thanks for sharing this info, OP. I went with Valeos for my last change. Good blade, but I've been unhappy with the bright white logo at the corner. Looks like the Otto logo is more subdued.
I have them on the wagen right now and they're great, but I am not a fan of Valeo's aggressive logo stamping - there is a white logo on the edge of each blade that's a bit gaudy.
I am a big fan of the Valeo 900 and I find them to last longer than the Bosch
This came off the passenger side of my car. The wiper is made by Valeo, a huge yurrupean car part supplier. The replacement blade I bought wasn't curved.
speaking of wipers....can we talk about how horrible the Honda 'Inside out' ones are? :screwy:
