Frustrated got OEM (motorcraft) at the stealership for $44 for the pair went on in 5 seconds each, wondered if I was doing something wrong so easy.
Replaced them about a year ago and they’ve been great.
I bought my set of PIAA blades (their frameless model) back in 2014 for my r56 and they are still working like they are new. Mind you, there is a bit of dead zone in the bottom end of the passenger side because the passenger blade can’t touch the glass due to the shape. I got used to that and it doesn’t bother me at all.
Using PIAA Si-Tech for a little over a year na, no complaints.
I replaced the blades with PIAA Si-Tech wipers. I get hydrophobic beading, no chirping or skipping and it won't damage the fluid system
PIAA silicone without a doubt are the best.
For Gen2+ use the Motorcraft OEM blades. They are designed for the windshield and have specific models for the drivers and passenger sides.
had really good luck with PIAA Aero Vogue part #s TireRack (cheapest place I found) 96145 & 96165, these also take refills and are Silicone based so they cause rain to bead and help preserve the rubber blade. My sister has them on her Outback and loves them. I might switch to them on my Highlander as I bought used and they put really crumby wipers on.
Does piaa still sell their silicone blades? I have a set I've been using for 6 years still works great
Wiper blades, I don't go OEM, I try to find a high quality SILICONE wiper blade, like PIAA or \*SOME\* Rain-X blades. They last like an order of magnitude longer.
