If they’re running Bosch Aerotwins, they care about their car. If they’re running shitty no-names and the wiper blades are worn out, they probably don’t care about more important maintenance.
It’s either old wipers or shite quality ones. Buy a bosh and you’ll be happy.
Get yourself some Bosch focus wiper blades and clean that windshield with 0000 steel wool and good glass cleaner. Get it extremely clean and get yourself some aquapel.

They’re exactly the same as the OEM blades for my Model S, except that it actually says “Bosch” on them. Never had a single streak.
I found out that the top of the original Bosch wiper blades are made of EPDM. They use EPDM for roofing that lasts around 50 years. The blades themselves can also last a very long time.

I have a '21 but I think it takes the same blades. I wanted Bosch Icons but couldn't find any that were confirmed to fit. But I got a set of Bosch AeroTwins and they are great
I've tried 3 brands of aftermarket wiper blades that claimed to fit the rear wiper of the ID4 and none did.
One was a Trico I bought from Amazon and when I requested a return in the app, Amazon refunded it and told me to keep it. I just cut off the plastic chunk at the end that prevented it from fitting and made it work (it stays in place but fits "sloppy".)
They\u2019re junk. Save your money and either go Bosch or OEM. Buy once, cry once.
