Windshield OEM Volvo or CARGLASS

ho sempre sentito parlare bene di carglass, anche mio padre ha dovuto cambiare pi\u00f9 volte il vetro alla sua auto e si \u00e8 sempre trovato bene

Io andai da Carglass e li trovai spettacolari. Ottimo servizio, molto rapido, tutti molto cordiali ed amichevoli ed essendomi esploso il vetro hanno pure passato l'aspirapolvere in maniera attenta e precisa per togliere tutti i cocci.

Carglass ha prezzi pi\u00f9 alti di altri. Qualche tempo fa ho portato l'auto di un parente a cambiare parabrezza... solito giro di preventivi e alla fine \u00e8 stato scelto UnipolGlass che ha fatto un preventivo (poi rispettato a lavoro finito) di 150\u20ac in meno rispetto a Carglass. E a distanza di un paio d'anni direi che il lavoro \u00e8 stato fatto bene.

First highway trip on my 2018 XC60, got a chip on the windshield. Replaced by the dealer with $500 deductible.

My 2015.5 V60, I replaced my windshield several times. The shop wouldn't let me get a 3rd party glass, only a Volvo branded windshield. The shop even disputed with the insurance when they wanted to use 3rd party glass due to the safety features.

I got my windshield repaired 2 weeks ago in switzerland and you can still see the dent, it looks like a small hole and the guy from Carglass said that its normal it stays like this, they dont replace the whole windshield when its a small dent, they repair it instead

If your car has HUD then check that the after market windshields do not blur the HUD display. On Volvos the aftermarket windshields blur the HUD image.

The glass on the SPA and CMA chips and cracks easily. I'm extremely cautious with my shield. I just hit 60k and so far have one chip that I filled immediately. I know many people that do two shields a year.

Within the first 2 weeks of receiving my car, while driving on the highway, I heard a pop noise on my windshield. A few hours later, A small hairline crack developed from the edge of my windsheild, and has since extended halfway across my windshield.
