My 2015.5 V60, I replaced my windshield several times. The shop wouldn't let me get a 3rd party glass, only a Volvo branded windshield. The shop even disputed with the insurance when they wanted to use 3rd party glass due to the safety features.

Pros: Volvo branded windshield
Cons: no 3rd party glass
Vehicle: Volvo V60

I have had two XC90 windshields replaced. Did both at the dealer because of the equipment mounted behind the glass - after replacement they took care of whatever reset codes and calibration were needed.

Pros: reset codes and calibration
Vehicle: Volvo XC90

Went to the dealer got oem glass and it almost looks like factory even the little plastic clip is there. The only thing that's wrong is that they covered the vin with some glue. If they fixed it like they should I'm really happy cause other places might not fit original glass. Already talked with the dealer so I guess there will be no problems fixing that flaw.

Pros: looks like factory, plastic clip present
Cons: VIN covered with glue

The OEM glass is nothing special to begin with. I noticed waves and/or imperfections with just about ALL the CRV's when I bought mine (23)...mine included.

Cons: waves and imperfections, nothing special
Vehicle: Honda

My 2021 Accord's windshield looks like it has been sandblasted, has a lot of pits, and a couple of chips, and it's just been a year since I got it. I keep a lot of following distance. Every time I am on the interstate, I just hope I get back home without a new crack, and I always hope I don't hear a sound in the windshield when I am passing a semi. No other brand car that I have driven had a windshield this weak.

Cons: sandblasted appearance, weak glass
Vehicle: Honda Accord

We had to replace the windshield on our 2022 Acord Hybrid. Got a rock chip and had it filled/repaired. Went out town for a month, and the windshield had side to side and top to bottom cracks when we returned.

Cons: cracked easily, poor durability
Vehicle: Honda Accord

I had a 9th gen accord and my LARGEST "maintenance" expense was replacing the windshields. I shit you not I had to replace the windshield 2 separate times over the course of 2 years because some random truck on the highway would kick up something seemingly harmless and destroy my windshield.

Cons: poor durability, frequent replacement
Vehicle: Honda Accord

Just over a year of ownership with my 24 Accord and I already have multiple chips and dings on the windshield. All while driving with adaptive cruise control at a far distance.

I had no issues with my 9th gen and that car I drove aggressively when I was younger, you would expect it— but no damages to the windshield.

Love the 11th gen hybrid but the glass quality ain’t it

Cons: multiple chips, poor quality
Vehicle: Honda Accord
