Windshield OEM Honda or OEM Mazda

The new windshield has the Mazda logo and the HUD seems just as I remember it without any ripple. Unfortunately I noticed some damage to the rain sensor, so am working with the dealership again to get that replaced. Luckily the windshield does not have to come off for that.

My 2019 EXL windshield got replaced 3 yrs ago with aftermarket glass and not a problem at all. And it cost me on $400 everything working fine.

My CX-50 has had no problem with its windshield and I’m a month or two away from the two year mark.

Example: windshields have to be lighter, so they are thinner. Any little rock will destroy one of our Mazdas windshield.

I had to have mine replaced less than 2 months after purchase in June 2023. A small rock got thrown up and put a big bullet hole in the glass.

The cx50 windshield sucks. I got a chip in the first month of owning it too.

I also had to replace mine after 1 year due to major cracks.

My windshield was cracked in multiple places within one year.
