Tires YOKOHAMA or Nokia

I have Nokian WRG4's on my 2015 Honda Accord and it feels glued to the road. I have been using it as my ski vehicle the last couple years and it has performed great with those tires.

Nokian , which is a company from Finland, makes excellent "all weather" tires if you live in areas that get snow. Basically a tire that is good in the snow like a snow tire but is made to be left on all year. Yokohama is a Japanese company that makes excellent tires at a low to mid price point. My wife's van needed tires badly and our budget was tight at the time, so I ordered some $77 each "Crossmax" tires from Walmart and I've been pleasantly surprised. They've been on the van 2 years and no complaints.

I have been using Nokians for many years. They offer excellent traction in snow and are long—Lasting.

Yokohama Geolander. I get a little moist thinking about them. So good.

If you want something that lasts longer than Blizzaks but still handles snow incredibly well, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 is the other top pick. Both completely change your confidence on hills and side streets.

I have never had a problem with my Yokohama Avid Ascend GT.

I just put the Nokian Hakkapelitta R5SUV tires on my R1S (also in Colorado). You can put those on the 22" wheels. I will put my Pirellis back on for summer driving.

I had the Yokohama Bluearth es32 for 5 years. Grabe mag chipping yan so take that into account. It's a known issue with how the model is manufactured.

The es32 is a good tyre, good performance, talagang chipping lang nakaka dismaya. (tyres are regularly checked, car wheel is well aligned, rotated every 6 mos)

i purchased 4 nokia tires in july of 2024. by june of 2025 the tires are completely bald. i bought a good tire rated to 80,000 miles and have them rotated and balanced every other oil change. in my entire life i never seen a tire wear down so fast.
