I have been driving all sorts of cars for 30 years and I have NEVER met a tire that is as well behaved on dry, wet, and snowy roads. I was all in on that statement, but the Yokohama Geolander has made me rethink that.
It does everything I need it to do.
Dry - The tire is precise, predictable, and quiet. It feels like I could panic swerve and the tire would not turn to mush.
Wet - I have never felt the tire nearing departure.
Snow - Even at near end of life, at 6/32ths of an inch, it did really well.
I’ve got the Geolandars on mine. They are great in the rain and smooth on tarmac at highway speeds. Haven’t had my snow to test with.
I loved my Geolanders!
I got the Geolanders literally 48 hours ago - got back from my first adventure with them about 15 minutes ago, handled amazing in dirt, deep mud and snow - haven’t had them long enough to recommend them one way or another but no initial complaints
Geolanders for sure. I have them on mine and they handle better than I could have hoped.
i loved the yok ao52 but i hear the nangkang crs are even better and cheaper
I have had the yokohama advan decibels which are specially designed to run quiet, they're pretty good but sacrifice some traction.
Running on Yokohama Advan Apex V601, instant favorite of mine now, way better than the PS4's
vegas eh. i just got a set of Achilles ATR sport off of Amazon for 47$ each shipped free. they're usually used as cheap track tires but plenty of people use them on all sorts of cars. if your not a brand snob check em out
I was not a fan of these tires in the snow. Never seemed to have an issue getting the car going, but did have the car oversteer and slide in the snow a few times.
