Tires WEST LAKE or OEM Subaru

I run snows on the '03 Outback and the '21 Mazda, I have a very early, 20+ mile commute to work, and live in the snow belt. So, roads are generally not plowed. They both do great on unplowed roads.

Westlake. Tested ko na yan. Same model tayo. 215/55/r17 yun akin since walang available stock size noon. Tahimik naman yun ride. nadrive ko 2gue-Tagaytay tapos nakaraan 2gue-zambales

Budget for snow tires. AWD is not magic, and you generally can't use chains with AWD systems. In terms of cars, Subarus are good and reliable. I've owned two Foresters.

With snow tires on my accord I was more successful than many Subaru owners who were stuck in the ditch.

I’m not convinced that Chinese tires are terrible, it depends on the brand. ZC tires, who make Westlake and Arisun, I think makes a good product, and have arguably the most advanced automated tire manufacturing for any consumer tires. If you handed me that list and said, you need tires today, these are the brands we have in stock, I’d go with Westlake.

Westlake is an okay brand. Walmart sells them and their installation costs are usually pretty low.

Westlakes are garbage.

They are not good tires and will be the bottom of any performance metric.

In south Florida, west lake is bottom of the barrel. I wouldn’t even consider putting them on a car I’m selling, I’d spend a little more for a brand name.
