Tires Uniroyal or Laufenn

My car came with laufenn winter tires. I was initially a bit disappointed as I never heard that brand before but after research, realized they are a sub brand of Hankook, manufacturer of quality tires. The winter tires i have are really good, even in heavy snow never felt a loss of traction. Also pretty quiet.

I’ve had a set of Uniroyals (Tigerpaws) on my 2010 ford focus slider. They’ve been on for quite a few years now, no noticeable cracking, and treadwear still good.

Imam ih na 2 auta, jedan 407sw, na njemu treca godina, presao oko 15k sa njima. Lepo prijanjaju na mokar i hladan asfalt, nemam osecaj nesugurnosti ni na vecim brzinama.

Odlicna guma Laufenn,pripada Hankoku kao pod brend,neces pogresiti ni sa Ling Long gumama.

Ja imam Laufenn i fit ice. Taj model više nije u ponudi ali sasvim je dobra guma i dobro se ponaša u normalnoj vožnji. Jedina mana, ako se tako može nazvati, je blaga buka na nekim brzinama.

Ersatzrad drauf, zur Werkstatt fahren und einmal dr\u00fcberschauen lassen. Ist vermutlich zu nah am Rand, aber vielleicht macht dir das der Typ ja trotzdem fertig. Ich pers\u00f6nlich w\u00fcrde aber eher nen neuen Reifen kaufen.

2nd pic shows dry rot cracking. Odd for a new tire after 6,000mi. You could try warranty through Uniroyal.

These are pretty much done you’re almost at the wear bars, and the outside shoulder is already going bald. They’ll still roll, but grip in rain is going to be noticeably worse, especially under braking.

A Laufenn tire may be made by Hankook, but it isn't the quality level of Hankook and isn't just the same tire with a different name on the side of it. I heard a Hankook rep joke he wouldn't put Laufenn tires on his ex-wifes car because they were just that bad.
