I also have a 22 Rav and hated the stock Dunlop Grandtrek tires. I finally swapped them out with a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend and i am very happy with them. Very quiet.

My Crosstrek still has the original Yokohama tires at 77k miles sitting at 7/32".

Pros: extremely long lifespan, good tread

Got about 70,000 on my 202p with stock sport Yokohamas. Btw these are NOT snow tires. But they handle great, that's why I purchased a second set.

Pros: long lifespan, great handling

The only complaint i have for it is that the stock toyo tires are not “optimal” for extreme winter weather; they will still get the job done.

Pros: will still get job done
Cons: not optimal winter weather
