Tires Toyo or NITTO
Get the Toyo AT3's. I just got mine after extensive research. Falken wildpeaks are too heavy and BFG KO3's don't perform as well as the Toyo AT3's. You'll get 50k miles out of them. I've had BFG KO3s before and the Toyos are better. I drive year round in my Toyos and they're grippy, quiet and don't lose very much mpg. Had the Micheling Mud and snow tires and they didn't perform nearly as well as the Toyo AT3's.
The best AT tires I've ever had for severe cold and ice were the Toyo Open Country AT3. They feel like they have a softer compound than the KO2 or Falken's I've had. I'm in Nebraska so we get plenty of cold and ice.
Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/45 R22
i got the toyo open county’s on it and it runs so good in the rain, looks a liitttllee bit less rough than this but its still a nice tire
Toyo GSI-6 (non-studded) or G3-Ice (Available studded or non-studded) tires are the best bang for your buck you can get. I have had nothing but good experiences with them on multiple cars. They're also very quiet which is a huge plus on a snow tire for me.
Love my Toyo AT-3, I went away from E to C years ago they look good
I put Toyo AT3’s on last winter after a near miss wreck on the highway and while they are better than stock performance wise i feel I would get better performance out of a dedicated snow tire and summer tire. I went with the toyos because they are the lightest on the market and still went from 27mpg average to 23.5mpg average to me that’s not worth what I gained in good looks.
If your ’25 RAV4 XLE Premium came with Toyo A39s, I’d honestly switch them sooner rather than later the hydroplaning complaints are real, especially once they wear in
10, miles, no wear on the penny scale.
20,xxx, still no wear using the penny.
30,xxx, found out on a wet road, noooooo stopping power, no wear, look like the day I bought them.
2019 F150 2wd on 2.5 level. 1st pic is 33inch tires and the second is 35/12.5/20 toyo mt’s. Not really digging this set up. $500 mistake.
