For a LT tire, I've had a couple sets of Toyo Open Countries and they did the job well, especially in snow.
So far, I’ve only driven about 30 miles on them, but my efficiency isn’t showing any change.
Toyo M55 has been the best tire I have used for heavy payloads. I also get them sipped for year round use. The tire does not perform excellent at anything but decent at everything. Very rugged tire.
went with 33 Toyo open country on mine they’re awesome
As a dude who has rocked Toyo Open County MT's for 5 or 6 years, I recently went with their RT Trail line. They're about 75-100 bucks cheaper, still look aggressive and are WAY quieter.
I have had two set of toyos, except for in the rain when they get to about 1/4 tread life they are great!
I’m a huge fan of Toyo’s. On old 1/2 and 3/4 tons I had 33” ATII, 33” HT, 35” MT, 35” RT F-rated, currently running ATIII on my F350 and the old Bronco I sold last week had ATIII’s as well. I’ve NEVER had an issue with any of them. They’ve gotten great wear and are all pretty quiet through 50-65% or so of their lifespan.
I had Toyo. They lasted about 46K then I had steel ply showing.
Once to use when I had a new Toyo tire with less than 5k miles fail.
KO2s or Toyos
I had RGs and they wore way too early and were soft as cotton.
