I love my General Grabbers and AT2's. They are a little rough on the street but an awesome tire off-road. The AT2's get stuck in the mud very easily though. I've had the AT2's on my daily for 4 years now with little wear and I drive an average of 14,000 miles a year.

Pros: awesome tire off-road, little wear
Cons: rough on the street, stuck in mud
Mileage: 56000 km

Toyo Tires

I bought [Toyo Observe GSi5](http://www.toyotires.ca/tire/pattern/observe-gsi5) for my car, I've no problems with them after three winters, driven country roads without slippage either.

Pros: no problems, no slippage

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I live in Maine... as you can expect we get plenty of snow/ice. Never needed studded tires unless I was driving on a giant sheet of ice i.e. frozen lake. I run General Altimax Arctics on my 4Motion Passat, about $80/tire in 16" sizes.

Pros: good in snow/ice
Cons: only on sheet ice

The only "good" winter tire I have experience with is the General Altimax, which did great and I would recommend highly.

Pros: did great, recommend highly

Toyo Tires

That exact same thing happened to my 2014 CX-5 GT. Toyo's warranty is no good, they ask you to ship the tires for them to evaluate warranty claims, ended up throwing them out and getting Pirellis.

Cons: warranty is no good
Vehicle: Mazda
