Tires Toyo or GENERAL TIRE

GENERAL TIRE Tires

General tires are the best out in my opinion. Even though they are owned by Continental they are a separate entity that does their own thing. The past 5 years I think general is the best because of quality, balance well, good tread life, quiet, etc.

Pros: quality, good tread life
Cons: Michelin is the best

I currently have Altimax RT-45 tires on my Golf Sportwagen (TDI, 6 speed manual). I used to use all-weather tires like Toyota Celsius, which are great for moderate snow. But winters in New England have gotten so less snowy that the Generals are excellent. Good handling, good in the rain, quiet.

Pros: Good handling, good in rain

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I've been running General Tire Altmax Artic Snows year round for maybe 5+ years on the same vehicle (no replacement, same tires, not even rotating).

Pros: year round use

Stock tires lasted about 50-60k miles on all three of my lightnings. I went with the toyos for replacements. My lightning has 10-15k on the toyos now, they're great. Smooth, wearing nicely, quiet, good efficiency, good in snow and rain, etc.

Pros: smooth, quiet, good efficiency
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 24000 km

Toyo Tires

I just bought the Toyo AT3 EVs earlier this week and I love them. Look great, haven’t noticed road noise and can’t wait for winter snow in these tires.

Pros: look great, no road noise
Vehicle: Ford

Got the Toyos a couple months ago. I'm averaging 4.0 km/kWh (2.5 mi/kWh), so it seems like they're pretty efficient!

Pros: pretty efficient

Toyo Tires

I’ve found Toyo holds up the best…..with the exception of the Toyo m/t I don’t know what kind of fairy dust they put in those but they are the longest lasting m/t I’ve ever seen on heavy trucks….my dad has a set on his 250 and pulls a camper and 14k pound trailer/tractor and this set is at 60k with about 10-15k left in them

Pros: longest lasting, 60k+ miles
Mileage: 60000 km

Toyo Tires

The OEM Toyo A36 tires on my car started cracking badly at just 39,600 miles. After driving just 12 miles on the new Pirellis, here’s my honest take:

They are NOT any quieter than the Toyos.

I’m hearing pretty much the same road noise I had with the OEMs.

Cons: same road noise
Mileage: 39600 km

Toyo Tires

Là je suis en Toyo je crois en gamme équivalente à ce que je prends e. Michelin

C'est incomparable, j'ai l'impression d'avoir des pneus en plastique

Ça glisse

Cons: glisse, pneus en plastique
