ADVAN Neova AD09s, no contest.
"200TW" ADVAN NEOVA AD09 last me about 25,000 miles even with an LSD.
Yes, they are good for the price. They last a while, but aren’t as grippy as other 200tw tires.
They do give great driver feedback due to stiff sidewalls, but this comes at the addition of road noise.
On track they come up to temp nice, and are gentle as they reach the edge of traction. They also don’t turn to ice when overheating, they just slowly start getting slippery.
Overall for the price, if you can only afford 1 set of tires, I’d recommend.
the tires have been excellent all around. I run touge/mountain roads and I needed predictable cold grip and exceptional grip at temp.
Recently bought some Rikens(Japanese tyre company that is now owned by Michelin and made in EU) for my wife's car and they are smooth AF.
I’ve got 18” Advan 052’s on my Restomod 930 and they feel great.
Rikens are fine. They're quite a soft tyre, probably because like you said Michelin make them butbthat does meant the grip is decent.
I have Advan V701s on my mr2 and for a 300 treadware they've got a ton of dry grip but they definitely struggle in the wet
Advan AD07 - great dry grip, medyo madulas sa wet.
I’ve been running Riken Raptor ZR A/S tires since I got my WRX just over a year ago and FINALLY got my hands on a set of Blizzaks. I’m excited to see how they handle any future snows here in Colorado Springs. We just had a good bit of snow dumped on us this past week and the all seasons were definitely showing signs of needing replacement.
