I only put Generals on my Jetta and BMW. LOVE THE G-Max for price and handling.
Tried Pirelli P6s and they were terribly slippery in the rain. I ran DWS06s on my 13 CC & 17 CC. Was the best choice for ride and performance.
I have the older version RT43's in my Lexus ES300 - they run really well but I will probably replace them in the next 2 years
The Pirelli PZero AS Plus 3 are a nice performance A/S tire that I just mounted to my G30 5 series. Not sure what your use case is, but those are more on the performance side of the A/S market and might be overkill for a daily commuter.
I am overly happy with the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 we got for our Forester.
Its a completely different car, especially when we upsized to 225/60-18.
Ive found tires on amazon for pretty cheap, even compared to tirerack, etc. And decent brands like pirelli and kumoto
For what it's worth the factory tires on my cbr300 were shockingly shit. When warm, however, is like your bike being on a railroad track. I swear they are vacuum powered or something, best upgrade in feel/confidence in the world.
I've owned both. The only advantage to the Pirelli is that they are a little more comfortable. The Michelins are better in every other way.
I had Pirellis on my RS3 when I bought it, and they were absolute trash lol.
I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with pirellis. Premature dry rot, delamination on new tires while driving, premature wear, etc. On top of that, I find them to be loud, ride poorly, grip poorly, are expensive, and wear down too fast even if you don’t run into common quality issues.
