I've had the wild peaks for years and love them, ill probably replace them with another set. That being said I do a fair amount of snow driving and trail driving in the summer.

Pros: love them

I’m in Maine tried them both, liked the wild peaks so much I put them on my wife’s suv, and my sons crosstrek. They are my all time favorite and incredibly high quality.

Pros: incredibly high quality

Tires are on, I went with LT285/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT4W in C load range. They are a legit 34x11.5 and are pretty heavy since they are the beefier Duraspec sidewall, coming in a 68 lbs, but still C load range. So tough, but with a smoother ride and potentially more flex than an E rated. I wanted to stick with the factory wheels, because A) they look great B) I don't want a higher scrub radius for clearance and wear/ tear, C) saves money.

Pros: tough, smoother ride, more flex
Cons: pretty heavy
Vehicle: Ford

Falken Wildpeak AT4.

I use them on the trails all the time, they’re great. Better on snowy pavement than my buddies KO2s as well

Pros: great on trails
Cons: better on pavement

I have the Pirelli scorpion at plus 10 plys with 60 000km so far they have been very durable, good in deep snow, about as good as you can expect for an all season on ice, good in soft ground / mud, decent on the highway under 120km/h but definitely fall short of the stock Michelins AT2’s I had on the highway.

Definitely notice the added weight and stiffer ride of the 10 ply’s. Tires are wearing well and I have not been gentle on them, expect them to last 100 000+ km.

Pros: Very durable, good in snow/mud, long lifespan
Cons: Stiffer ride, heavy, weaker highway performance
Mileage: 60000 km

Falken Tires

I’m getting rid of my Falken Wildpeaks after 6,000 miles of misery. These tires will not balance and I’ve had rotational noise issues at highways speeds.

Cons: will not balance, rotational noise
Mileage: 9656 km
