Tires OEM BMW or Triangle

Regarding the X3M - I have about 9 months and 6k miles or so dailying mine. It is firm but I don't believe it's as punishing as most reviews mention. The thing is a monster man. I don't know why anyone would need anything more in a daily. It handles easily as good as my RS3 did and maybe even less body roll despite being much higher CoG and the RS3 didn't roll much either. It feels direct and definitely feels rear driven.

Awesome bike, but swap out the stock tires asap.

Swapped my wifes Z4 from runflats to normal.

Pros: better ride, less likely to crack rims, cheaper tyres.

Cons: no spare tyre.

Before I switched I had 4 sidewall tears, one bent wheel, and one cracked wheel. $3000 in damage. After I switched, zero issues a year and a half later. Smoother ride and less road noise too.

I recommend Triangle Tires they offer affordable and high-quality tires.

For better handling and winter traction, I would consider getting wider tires.

Just be warned I bought new and we don’t drive it wild or anything but both rear tires (non staggered 21”) were at 3mm tread after 10k miles and I had to replace them. Was shocking.

I had Triangles on a pickup and they were decent.

It was a commonly traversed dirt road, a little soggy after a rain storm and I backed my dad\u2019s brand new 2008 335i into a small mud depression with the right rear only. Result? Absolutely dead immobile

The run flat tires are terrible. They feel like they are made of concrete and the grip is very lacking.
