They have Nokian tires, which I find to be the best winters.
I personally use Nokian tires and they have worked well.
Nokian hakkapeliittas are great - my #1 pick. Blizzaks good to great and much cheaper. No complaints with the Blizzaks, but I just had the impression with the Hakkas that they were another level - really surprisingly good in the worst conditions.
I’m a fan of Nokian brand. Finland knows snow and it shows in their tires. I’ve been using them for years and love having dedicated snow tires. After I had been using them for about 5 years, I talked my wife into getting a set for her car. She was mad I hadn’t talked her into it sooner.
If you're commuting every day I'd for sure get the studded Hakkas.
All you need is good studded tires like Nokian and you will be fine.
I just bought Nokians for my S80, similar pattern. Certainly a great upgrade regardless!
Go with Nokian Hakkapellittas they dance circles around Pirelli’s.
I run wrg4’s for winters and their decent. They’re not loud and they’re fine in the dry and wet. Snow and ice they could better. Not as good as a full winter but better than all seasons.
Note to self to never buy Nokian, those things are toast.
