Of those are the only two tires your considering, then Nittos hands down. I ran one pair of KO2s… that was the first and last time I’ll run BFGs. Never had an issue with Nittos.
Nitto in load range E. I have probably 350k miles on multiple sets and never had a flat and I've been from the Arctic ocean to Mexico and everywhere between. Damn near bullet proof.
Ran Ko2s on my last rig (xterra) and running ridge grapplers on my current (tundra). Ko2 handle great overall. Never had an issue with them except road noise. I find the Ridge Grapplers are great overall, except snow. They suck in the snow.
It comes wrapped with a new-ish set of Nitto Nomaf Grappler size 235/60-18 excellent for a Q3 or Q5 fitment. Nitto tires made in the USA and are mild A/T tires. Has 3PMSF certification. Only driven less than 3000 miles before deciding to go full 20” on my Q5.
If you're only buying one set of all seasons year round then nitto neo gen are really good value.
I've got those same tires and I love them. I'll be getting another set of them when this set is through.
Best tires I’ve ever owned. They’re expensive as shit here in New Zealand, if you can even find them, but they’re worth every penny.
I burned through 2 sets of tires this same way! Was going about 70 on he fwy one morning and a large strip decided it had enough. was flopping around the wheel well and was super loud.
With 2 sets of Ridge Grapplers, I always had one that the tire shop never could balance. Plus they aren’t any quieter than a mud terrain.
Don’t get Trail Grapplers for the road. Loud AF and bumpy.
